I want to build a website? Please Help….I have no experience with HTML!?
Hi
I want to build a website-(online travel directory) but unfortunately I dont have any experience with HTML. If a pay the fee to use the better version will that give more flexibility as well as allow for google ads?
Do you still take commision even if a person uses the paid version fro weebly?
I would like to be able to:
Spend as little as possible on start up costs
Have my own unique web address www.mysite.com
Have my own unique email address susana@mysite.com
Sell my services
Integrate affliate products to sell via my site
Accept as many forms of payment as possible on my site
Make me a decent enough income
Be able to publish 50+ pages and link them all seemlessly
Have a fully customisable website
Incorporate adsense & other advertising programs to generate revenue
Get hosting included
Get plenty of bandwidth
Do not need to know or understand HTML, CSS or PHP
Be able to add videos and other media easily
Any recommendations….
Look forward to hearing from you.
John

- a website can’t make you rich, or decent enough income. except professional one
- ad sense don’t make much income as you think,
- hard to generate traffic to the your website especially if your website full of ad/goods
- you will end up paying your host more than the income. except maybe ponzy scam.
- people will not trust newly developed website with inexperience/ cheap looks website.
- videos and media need huge bandwidth and it’s not cheap
that’s sad fact you need to know about website.
making website means you must be experienced with those stuff, if not:
- you don’t know how to fix bugs, and people will lose their trust. (inexperience/cheap website)
- someone can hack your website (if it’s make descent income), even to your paypal account
- also hacker can easily impersonate you and taking your admin control. (again if descent income)
- anything with big/good income generate hate and envy to your competitor, and they will smash your website down by flooding/lagging and you don’t know what to do because you don’t know any coding. (they never play fair, internet can be anonymous war ground, you don’t know who attack you, and how many)
my suggestion, hire professional.
Well unless you know HTML, CSS, PHP, Flash, etc. You are going to have to hire someone to do it for you. You can get an HTML builder like Webdwarf that will allow you to visually create the website and then it will generate the HTML, but if you want to accept payments you will have to know some coding in order to integrate them with Paypal services.
Well you did set a lot of requirements, and i can’t answer them all, but I can help. If you want to save money on having a pro make your site, try buying the software Dreamweaver. It can be hard to learn at first, but it is AMAZING! Also, many people will give you a domain name for as little for 99 cents per month. If you don’t like that though, try http://www.wix.com You don’t need to know HTML code to make the site, and it’s free with the option to pay for additional features. Hire a web dev is not worth it. waste of money spending.
Take Care!
You’re telling us that you’ve never driven a car before, but asking for help in disassembling the engine. You’re in WAY over your head. You CAN NOT build a business site with no prior experience. You *DO* need to learn HTML, PHP, CSS, Javascript and SQL.
Save yourself a small fortune – hire a web developer to create your site. (One law suit, because you made a mistake and your customers’ credit card information was compromised, and you’ll be paying off the judgment for the next 50 years.)
Writing a business website is no more a do-it-yourself project than doing a heart transplant is. You can kill your business (and your personal financial status, since doing the site yourself was a personal decision) very easily.

You can do what you want to do by getting your own website, not a "free" site. So,
First you need a web host. It can cost as little as $35. for the year. This includes all the tools you need including unlimited space, unlimited emails, autoresponder, advertising credits and much more. You also get the best programs to create your website.
I suggest making the website with WordPress which comes with your hosting. No HTML required, its very easy and a lot of the seo is built right in. A WordPress site even broadcasts itself so you get more traffic.
I help people get started with this and I dont charge to help. You can contact me for more info.
I think this is the answer to your question , this iste should work great for you

The easiest way is to use wordpress. It has a plugin for virtually everything you can think of, and there are plenty of themes on the internet.
