im starting a business website, im based in melbourne australia… do (.com) or (.com.au) ???
does it matter for search engines? and if people forget and type in the au at the end of the url and my website just has the .com on the end, will they still be directed to my website?, also does it make a difference who hosts my websites in relation to search engines, my business will really rely on seach engine results like google……thankyou
I would recommend getting both because if you want the .com.au and someone only puts in .com it will not be directed to the site. If you prefer to have the .com.au I would buy the .com and redirect it to the .com.au and have your website built on the .com.au. It can make a difference on the host that you chose when speaking of search engine ranking. I can assist further if you wish.
